An important collaboration for us, considering the trend of tourist flows to Sicily. Flows that, more and more, speak Chinese: in fact, in 2016, China ranked as the largest tourism market, in terms of spending and the number of trips abroad, settling above the US and Germany, and as a consequence, a very attractive tourist market for Sicily, also and especially in terms of hospitality offer. Among the incoming and outgoing passenger flows, Germany is the country with the highest number of passengers direct or coming from the airport of Catania: over 627 thousand in 2017 (+ 7%), followed by the passengers of the United Kingdom with 338 thousand users (+ 12%) and Malta. The evolutions foresee new routes to / from new countries, which enrich the offer and to fill the tourist flows.
