    From October 23rd some sicilian “treasures”, that nowadays are exhibited at the British Museum, will be exhibited at the Archeological Museum Paolo Orsi

    The exhibition represents an opportunity fro showing together cultural artifacts found in same places. So, for the first time in Sicily, the jewels coming from Avola (exhibited together with coins preserved in the Paolo Orsi museum) and the golden cup of Sant’Angelo Muxaro (exhibited together with two golden ringers coming from necropolis of Agrigento) will be visible.

    The exhibition will be also enriched by other “treasures” belonging to the museum and coming from Siracusa, the archeological area of Akrai and from other sicilian places.

    Furthermore, the service of silver tableware, coming from the archeological area of Megara Hyblaea, will be exposed again to the public.
