The ideal venue for a light and delicious lunch break, perhaps with colleagues, and for a varied dinner in a welcoming environment. But also the most welcoming place for tea breaks.

The choice you recommend: Cakes, teas and infusions.

A choice with an unusual taste: Alta Mira tea with cinnamon, chopped almonds and cloves or the relaxing herbal tea and our Sacher.

ACQUAMADRE

via Luigi Capuana, 36 – Catania

An intimate and cozy place to taste tea, served according to the ancient tradition of Gong fu cha, accompanying it with first courses, main courses and desserts prepared with Sicilian and seasonal ingredients.

The choice you recommend: Them all. The tea card is very rich with a wide selection of White, Green, Black, Oolong and Hēichá teas, some of which are fermented from 10 to 20 years.

A choice with an unusual taste: The Çaymisù. A tiramisu prepared with çay (Turkish black tea) instead of coffee.

Medium price of a sweet break: From 6 to 15 euros.

Best time to come: Saturday mornings from 10.oo am to 1.00 pm when we show off the tradition of Gong fu cha.

Corso Italia, 23 – Catania

Bonù is a special place, a concept store born in December 2003. It is a multi-purpose space where creativity finds its center. And where you can have fun until evening.

The choice you recommend: tea accompanied by our “granny’s cake”. Or the Cheesecake or Chiffon cakes with a super soft sponge cake (the one with mascarpone cream is delicious)!

A choice with an unusual taste: Red Velvet Chocolate, hot chocolate with a Red Velvet flavor. Or the Bubble Tea, to be consumed cold.

Medium price of a sweet break: Average price of tea + biscuits is 5.50 euros.

Best time to come: Saturday and Sunday from 5.00 pm.

A small, welcoming and magical oasis of pleasantness, in the hectic heart of the city center. They will welcome you with a tasty sweet and savory menu and a delicious “English style” setting, inspired by Alice in Wonderland.

The choice you recommend: Afternoon Tea, which will be served with a sweet and savory risotto accompanied by a glass of prosecco.

A choice with an unusual taste: An Oolong tea, Chinese tea called “the dragon’s”.

Medium price of a sweet break:  About 10 euros. The recommended dessert is our baked cheesecake with berries or chocolate.
