- 96100 Siracusa

Beautiful and bright seafaring city. Siracusa has always been characterised by a special relationship with the sea that surrounds and embraces the city. As the Greek did, many tourists decided to arrive in Siracusa by sea, welcomed from the big Port. It is one of the most ancient still active maritime ports, a precious witness of the history and of the fightings happened over the centuries.

The tourist port, located in the city centre, is a private harbor made of afloat wharfs, provided of equipments and services for the anchorage.

Its seabed, in which the river Anapo flows, is boggy. It is a safe harbor for boats, there is just one dangerous area, a sandbar located South of the port, called “Secca Galera”.

Many services are provided for the boaters: running water, light, wi-fi connection, surveillance, cleaning, meteo, possibility to rent boats and vehicles.

Further, very interesting is the so-called “most ancient Mediterranean regatta”, the International regatta Siracusa-Malta, organized by Lega Navale Italiana, section of Siracusa, and by the Royal Malta Yacht Club. 100 yachtses divided in different classes (race, cruise and classic) compete every year.
