    The cycling road Rossana Maiorca, opened in 2008 on a former railway track, extends for 6.56 km from the Monument to the Caduti of the Sea in Contrada Targia, through Mazzarrona and the tuna fishery of Santa Panagia.

    The track starts from the former real level crossing Saint Lucia , then take the road until the Targia near the former Mattatoio. Along the way you can visit the nearby Latomie dei Cappuccini and the Monument to the Fallen Italian of Africa from which the track begins. In several side entrances you can explore the rock of the Cappuccini and the rock Due Fratelli and also always on the track , you’ll see the abandoned building of the former Santa Panagia Station, the gulf where the Greeks had built the port of Trogilo , the oratory Byzantine Santa Panagia and the trap of Santa Panagia . But also the remains of the Dionysian walls and several of the Greek era stone quarries , in addition to some bunker of World War II .

    The floor is with gravel and the cycling road goes next to the coast, offering a lovely view to citizens and tourists.

    To cross it by bike the estimated travel time is 30 minutes. Access allowed with dogs on a leash.
