VILLA DEL GRADO

This villa, also known as Villa Cocuzza, was designed between 1903 and 1908 by the architect Agatino Atanasio.

Consisting of a central body and four corner towers, the villa is surrounded by a wonderful garden.
In this garden the lava outcrops are still visible, which make this Catanese holiday residence even more impressive.
The entrance is absolutely spectacular and animated by a beautiful external staircase. All around the perimeter railing alternates with wrought iron and gates made by the Parisian craftsmen.

Today it represents one of the best examples protected by building speculation and if the inside is the seat of a commercial activity, the external gardens are used for exclusive events.
