The Palace of the Dukes of Santo Stefano, built between 1300 and 1400 in Sicilian Gothic art, was part of the medieval walls.

On the facades it is possible to admire an elegant frieze made up of pieces of lava stone and pieces of white stone of Siracusa and mullioned windows. Around the palace there is the garden where there is still the well to collect rainwater.

The Palace, where the family De Spuches, the Dukes of Santo Stefano di Brifa and Princes of Galati lived, hosted the Mazzullo Foundation and the numerous works and lava stone sculptures of Giuseppe Mazzullo.
