Largo XVII Agosto

On September 2010, one of the most ancient and typical neighborhood of Catania, “Civita”, is become the stage of a series of artistic actions, among animation and performance.

During an open air show lasting 5 days, 5 internationally renowned street artists – Microbo, Bo130, 2501, San, Guè – carried out site specific works on the facades of the houses of Largo XVII Agosto, making a real “ReWallution”: the first legal street art operation on the walls of Catania organized by the free press “Lapis” to celebrate twenty years of activity, with the patronage of the Department of Culture and Major Events of the Municipality of Catania.
