In Piazza San Francesco D’Assisi, in the eighteenth-century Cruyllas Gravina’s palace, it’s the birthplace of the composer Vincenzo Bellini, it was declared national monument in November 29th, 1923.

The apartment is composed to 3 bedrooms and 2 small rooms, maintaining the original furnishings, and it was organized in chronological order.

Through the objects and relics that belonged to the famous composer, it was organized a historical path to investigate the most intimate Bellini’s life aspects. The museum has numerous autographed manuscripts, music sheets, paintings and even the composer’s death mask.

Recently it was enlarged and at the main floor of the same building you can visit the showing of pianos and music sheets used by Vincenzo Bellini and you can access to the musical culture’s library and to the Center for Bellini Studies.
