Toulouse-Lautrec exhibition at Palazzo della Cultura in Catania

Palazzo della Cultura in Catania is preparing to host another prestigious exhibition. From 7th February to 3rd June 2018 the protagonist will be the great Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, the most representative interpreter of the Belle Époque art.

Curated by Stefano Zuffi, the exhibition will exhibit 170 works from the Herakleidon Museum in Athens. Through illustrations, prints, posters, watercolors, videos and photographs it will be possible to go back in time and immerse yourself in the charm of Paris in the late nineteenth century.

Toulouse-Lautrec tells about the inclinations and the atmospheres of the city observing the life of the Parisians from Montmatre, the district of artists and perdition. His work is invaluable as it is considered the precursor of the birth not only of graphics, but also of advertising.
