Exhibition: The Light of India
Don’t miss the evocative photographic exhibition that tells the story of India
On Sunday, April 28, 2024, starting at 5:30 PM, at the La Verde La Malfa Foundation – Parco dell’Arte in San Giovanni La Punta (CT), you will have the opportunity to participate in the event “The Light of India”.
During the evening, you can listen to the lecture by Professor Igor Spanò from the University of Palermo, titled “The Gods Have No Eyelids: A historical reflection on the iconographic aspects of Hindu deities”.
Additionally, the photography exhibition titled “The Shadow of Light” will be inaugurated, curated by the esteemed art historian and critic, Daniela Fileccia. The exhibition features a series of photographs taken by Alfredo La Malfa in India and will remain on display until June 15, 2024.
The Light of India
“The Light of India” is part of the journey of the Casa della Divina Bellezza Foundation in Forza d’Agrò (ME), with the theme “Being at Crossroads: Choosing Possibility in a Journey of Life, Art, and Faith”. This exceptional celebration will take place at the La Verde La Malfa Foundation – Parco dell’Arte, representing an important collaboration between the two foundations as they embark on a shared path.
