15th Edition of the Marranzano World Fest: Special Guest Maestro Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia

Every year, the Marranzano World Fest kicks off the summer festival season in Sicily, offering an immersive experience that encourages the rediscovery and renewal of traditional music, singing, and dance. The festival promotes an enriching dialogue with musical cultures from around the world, bringing together professional artists and folk musicians who keep oral traditions alive, becoming a point of reference for scholars and enthusiasts.

This year, from July 9th to 13th, the Marranzano World Fest celebrates its 15th edition, hosting in Sicily the Maestro Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, a living legend of the Bansuri, the transverse flute of Indian classical music.
With over sixty years of international career, collaborations with artists like George Harrison and Ravi Shankar, and a recognized position as an ambassador of Indian music, Maestro Chaurasia continues to spread this art with concerts and masterclasses around the world.
