Conference: Sufism, the Inner Aspect of Islam
An engaging spiritual journey through life, art, and faith
On Sunday, February 25th at 5:30 PM, at the Fondazione Casa della Divina Bellezza in Forza d’Agrò, the conference “Sufism, the Inner Aspect of Islam: Presentation of Spiritual Paths and Comparison with Eastern Christianity” will be held. This event marks the first appointment of the 2024 series “Being at the Crossroads: Choosing Possibility in a Journey of Life, Art, and Faith”. The main objective is to give voice to a series of experiences characterized by a strong desire for connection and empathy towards human emotions.
Leading this exploratory and spiritual journey will be professor Patrizia Spallino, curator of the event and lecturer in Arabic Language, History of Islamic Philosophy, and Cultural Heritage of the Arab-Islamic world at the University of Palermo.
The meeting offers a unique opportunity to explore the Foundation and admire its extraordinary works of art.
