Citymap SiciliaStreet Art Bus Tour #Catania is a path to discover some of the most important public art intervention in the city.
In recent years, Catania has become a great museum of urban art and, many of its neighborhoods, have transformed in symbolic exhibition rooms where nationally and internationally renowned street artists have decided to express their thoughts transforming the “black” (because of lava stone) Catania in a city as bright as the works created by the themselves.
An artistic ferment that has generated public and private cultural initiatives aimed at discovering even the most hidden nuances of each work and author. Among these, there is the Street Art Bus Tour #Catania, a path, by bus and partially pedestrian, aimed at spread the knowledge of some of the most important public art interventions in the city.
The Street Art Bus Tour #Catania starts its “ride” – reserved for fifty people – every first Sunday of the month. The tour will start and end at the Ex Rimessa R1 (via plebiscito 747 – Catania) within which in 2018 the Agave mural by Alice Valenti further enriched the Emergence Festival project created by internationally renowned artists to make that space as an open-air museum. These include: CORN79 (Italy), Etnik (Italy), Gomez (Venezuela), Gue (Italy), Salvo Ligama (Italy), Pao (Italy), Fabio Petani (Italy), Ruce (Italy), Rasta (Iran ), Seikon (Poland) and StenLex (Italy).
Participants will be accompanied by Grazia Previtera, Authorized Tourist Guide and Alice Valenti, representing the artistic community.
Ticket and sale condition
Participation to the Street Art Bus Tour #Catania is limited (50 seats). The cost of the ticket is € 10 and is free for children under the age of 10.
Reduced ticket for groups of more than 10 people. If you wish to participate in a group or have special needs, do not hesitate to contact us by writing an email to hello@citymapsicilia.it
In case of cancellation of the tour by the organizers, the ticket purchased remains valid for one of the subsequent scheduled dates, subject to confirmation by email at least 7 days before the Tour.
There are no refunds for those who arrive at the starting point of the Tour with delay compared to the scheduled time.
The 3-hour tour includes several stops with getting on and off the bus, therefore it may not be suitable for children or families with strollers.

- fill the form and buy the ticket via paypal at a cost of € 10 and reserve your seat immediately (tell us if there will be children under the age of 10 with you);
- choose to pay in one of the CityMap affiliated stores and buy your ticket for € 10:
- Folk, via San Michele 17/19 – Monday to Saturday, from 10.30 to 13.30 /from 16.30 to 20.00
