The Emilio Greco Museum is located in Piazza San Francesco d’Assisi, it is housed on the first floor of the Gravina Cruyllas’ palace that it was built in the early eighteenth century, after the disastrous earthquake of 1693.

The fresco on the ceiling of the entrance room depicts the coat of arms of the House and the crop prayer area in the second hall is a witnessing of the habits of the family who lived there.

The Emilio Greco Museum, dedicated to the famous sculptor from Catania, was inaugurated by the same artist in 1994, thanks to his donation to the City of Catania, is exhibited a permanent collection of 150 graphic works by Emilio Greco realized between 1955 and 1992. In this Museum are set up regular individual and group exhibitions of known and emerging authors. The graphic works are dominated by female nudes, characterised by thin line and fragile image.
