Artistic Christmas crib in Catania

During Chrismas holiday, the church of Catania city centre will host the Nativity scene.

From the Cathedral in piazza Duomo to the churches in via Crociferi, many places of worship have realized an artistic Christmas crib which will be shown from December 8th to January 6th. The event is promoted by the Comune of Catania, in collaboration with the Assessorato alla Cultura, within the event “Natale in città”.

Saint Agatha Cathedral, piazza Duomo
From Monday to Saturday from 7.30 to 12.00 and from 16.00 to 19.00
Sunday from 8.00 to 12.30 and from 16.30 to 19.30

Church of Carmine, Piazza Carlo Alberto (fera o luni)
From Monday to Friday from 7.30 to 12.00 and from 16.00 to 19.00
Saturday and Sunday from 8.00 to 12.30 and from 17.00 to 19.00

From December 24th night to January 6th it will be possible to admire the artistic scenography of Nativity scene, realized on the main altar.
Saturday, January 6th at 18.00 it will be possible to see the living Nativity.

From Monday, December 11th to Friday, January 5th: Christmas Crib realized by the children of the Primary and Elementary Schools of Catania.
