Ulysses in the Underworld: The Itinerant Theatrical Performance at the Monastery of the Benedictines
From October 31 to November 3, 2024, Ulysses in the Underworld, directed and performed by Angelo D’Agosta, will take place at the Monastery of the Benedictines in Catania. Amid the lights and shadows of the 18th-century cellars, audiences will experience the tenth and eleventh books of Homer’s Odyssey, where Ulysses encounters haunting apparitions in the Underworld. The centerpiece of the performance will be the “Antonino Leonardi” Red Room, providing a striking backdrop for this unique theatrical journey.
