Thirty-second Edition of the Cherry and Rose Festival: An Event Blending Art, Culture, and Folklore
From June 14 to 16, 2024, Piazza San Vito in Macchia di Giarre will host the renowned Cherry and Rose Festival. This historic event, which originated in the 1950s, celebrates cherry season with tastings of fresh fruit, jellies, jams, and liqueurs such as kirsch and maraschino.
You will also find stalls offering food and wine products, as well as crafts, all set in an atmosphere rich in art, culture, and folklore.
