The October festival dedicated to the beloved Etna DOP prickly pear returns to Belpasso

From October 18th to 20th, 2024, the Sagra del Ficodindia dell’Etna DOP returns to Belpasso for its ninth edition. Held at the Giardino Comunale Nino Martoglio, this event celebrates one of the finest products of the Etna region: the prickly pear.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore and taste a wide variety of prickly pear-based products, following a journey through the entire production process, from cultivation to transformation. The festival offers a unique chance to discover more about this prized fruit and the rich culinary traditions associated with it.
