43rd edition of the Ottobrata Zafferanese: a month of taste and tradition
The most eagerly awaited autumn gastronomic event in Southern Italy is back: the Ottobrata Zafferanese will enliven the historic centre of Zafferana Etnea every Sunday in October. Like every year, it offers a unique and dynamic experience to celebrate the art, culture, and typical products of our island.
Day 1 October: Grape Festival;
Day 8 October: Honey Festival;
Day 15 October: Sagra delle Mele dell’Etna (Etna Apple Festival);
Day 22 October: Mushroom Festival;
Day 29 October: Chestnut and Wine Festival.

EVERY SUNDAY:
From 9.30 a.m. to 8 p.m. – Giuseppe Sciuti Association Gallery – Art collective organised by the ‘Giuseppe Sciuti’ Artistic and Cultural Association of Zafferana Etnea.
From 9.30 am to 8 pm – Vicolo dell’Arte – Extemporaneous painting exhibition.
From 9.30 am to 8 p.m. – Istituto Crédit Agricole Hall – Art exhibitions.
From 9.30 a.m. to 9 p.m. – Municipal Villa – Sport Climbing Wall.
from 9.30 am to 10.30 pm – La Via delle Arti e dei Mestieri – Extemporaneous exhibition of master craftsmen (copper, iron, stone, ceramics, papier-mâché, ‘panaru’, cart).
From 9.30 am to 00 am – Ex Campo Sportivo – Food & Show Cooking Area.
From 10 a.m. to 00.00 am – P.zza C. Pappalardo – Children’s Sundays: games, workshops, animation.
From 3.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. – Planetarium – Dome Show with Full-dom animation.
