The Ninth Edition of Nivarata, the Festival that has Made Granita the Symbol of Sicily

From May 23rd to 26th, Acireale becomes the city of freshness with Nivarata, the festival that celebrates not only Sicilian granita as an artisanal excellence product but also as a cultural symbol of the whole Sicily. This year, the festival welcomes gelato makers of national and international caliber, ready to delight you with their exclusive creations of granitas and sorbets.

The opening event, on Thursday, May 23rd, will be dedicated to solidarity. The entire proceeds of the evening will be donated to the Angelica La Forza del Sorriso Association.

Nivarata is passionately organized by Conpait and Conpait Sicilia, with the tireless support of Peppe Leotta and Fulvio Massimino, who are committed to promoting not only granita but also the identity of a territory rich in history, culture, and traditions.
