New Year’s Eve 2024 in Catania: On December 31st in Piazza Duomo

The city of Catania is eagerly preparing to celebrate the arrival of the new year with great enthusiasm. It is poised to provide everyone with unforgettable moments and wealth of surprises

An extraordinary celebration of music, entertainment, and spectacle is anticipated for New Year’s Eve 2024 in Catania, an event organized with the support of the Sicilian Region and the Regional Assembly, in collaboration with Puntoeacapo.

On December 31st, from 9:00 pm until the first light of dawn, Piazza Duomo will transform into a magical stage to welcome the new year with an explosion of music and festivities.

On stage, nationally and internationally renowned artists will deliver extraordinary performances spanning a wide range of musical genres. Among the highlights of the Catania New Year’s celebration are Tananai and Mario Biondi, ready to satisfy the tastes of all ages.

Alongside these two stars, three young but already established artists will share the spotlight: the two talented Catania natives, Anna Castiglia and Elena Manuele, and the Catania-adopted, Roman-born Sophie Ottone, known as Soap.

The evening will be lively hosted by Chiara Esposito, accompanied by Ruggero Sardo, to guide the audience until the arrival of the new year. Together, they will introduce the artists who will enliven the Catania night, enriched with engaging DJ sets curated by Radio Studio Centrale.

The New Year’s Eve concert in Piazza Duomo is not just a musical event but a collective celebration of hope, joy, and new beginnings.
