“DOMESTICY”: PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION OF CLAUDIA AGATI IN CATANIA

“Domesticity”: stories of domestic violence.

From 12 April to 5 May 2019 the 2LAB gallery hosts the Domesticity photo exhibition by Claudia Agati which tells the stories of four women who have suffered domestic violence. Among the objectives of the project is to demonstrate how for some women the domestic space may not be the safe place that everyone believes.

The four protagonists of the exhibition – Valerie, Rachel, Nancy and Victoria – suffered mistreatment at the hands of their partners.

The exhibition is the documentation of the reflection of these four women on the experience of abuse .
