BEERCATANIA SPRING, FESTIVAL OF ARTISAN BEERS

On May 24th, 25th and 26th at the Ardizzone Gioeni Institute the BeerCatania Spring 2019, the festival of craft beers, returns.

Sicilian craft beers and not only, food stands, concerts, music, conferences and workshops to turn Catania into the capital of original beer again.

The BeerCatania Spring renews the appointment with a lighter and more amusing format in which in addition to culinary proposals and a selection of breweries, coming not only from Sicily but from all over Italy and also from abroad, will also see many moments dedicated to live music and many training events.

An even smarter and more innovative edition with the “YHOP” application, thanks to which users will be updated on tapped beers and can evaluate taste experiences.

Three masteclass scheduled at 18:00.

For the first time at BeerCatania, Friday 24, Andrea Camaschella (editor of Fermento Birra Magazine, author for Cronache di Gusto, speaker in forums and laboratories, tasting teacher for the IT Agribusiness and in courses dedicated to beer) will interview Teo Musso, founder in 1986 of Le Baladen. One of the most significant representatives of a new way of understanding beer will tell and guide the tasting of his “reserve”.

Saturday 25 Simone Cantoni, journalist with a passion for beer, one of the most important beer communicators in Italy will have fun with every type of combination.

And on Sunday 26 the program continues with the laboratory (at 12:00) of Trinacria Hombrewes: how to make beer. Raw materials and production and at 18 Andrea Camaschella and Pietro Pappalardo, president of Eastern Sicily ONAF will make a course of combinations of beers and cheeses.
