MUSCÀ – Museum of Sicilian Cart

From 15th May to 30th September 2016, Taormina hosts MUSCÀ, an exceptional museum dedicated to the Sicilian Cart and the Opera dei Pupi, two cornerstones of the regional culture.

The stars will be, on one hand, the famous means of transport, stained with religious scenes or epic-chivalrous and, on the other, the Opra, recognized in 2008 by UNESCO as Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.

An unmissable event for all Sicily lovers, who will be able to know, during the summer, the history of the most beautiful island of the world. Moreover, in the city that is justifiably known as the pearl of the Ionian and that houses in the same time dozens of world-class events, such as the Film Fest.
