“BANKSY: THE SHOW MUST GO ON” IN NOTO

From 18 April to 31 October, the Santa Chiara Museum hosts the exhibition on the famous and acclaimed English graffiti artist
Advertising, calculation, irony, irreverence, mystery, surprise?
All ingredients present in the works of the Bristol street artist that have made him a world icon and one of the most sought after artists of the last 10 years and that the association Il Centro, with the sponsorship of the City of Noto, exhibits for the first time in Sicilia.
The exhibition, entitled “Banksy: The Show Must Go On” focuses on the famous and acclaimed British graffiti artist in the spaces of the Santa Chiara Museum, where the artist’s works will confront the archaeological findings of Ancient Greece on the site.
The project of high artistic and cultural value of the exhibition is articulated in the different rooms of the Museum through a chronological itinerary of its activity with the exhibition of 23 works on paper among the most representative and iconic of the artist; these works come from private collections and foundations located in Europe and overseas.
